After a year off, the band began to discover the original vision and aspirations they had when first forming the group back in 2000. So with the help of fans/supporters and their donations, the band was able to raise a budget and independently record and release their 6th studio album.
Your Sparkling Death Cometh was released in 2011. Tracked at 'Fangs' producer Casey Crescenzo's studio down in California. The band headed up the operation - Produced by Jessy Ribordy, Mixed by Josh Shroy, and with help in Engineering by Casey Crescenzo and Jeremy Miller.
Falling Up produced a remix album based on 'Your Sparkling Death Cometh' in 2012 called Mnemos. It is available at http://fallingup.bandcamp.com, along with Your Sparkling Death Cometh.

Falling Up Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Do you believe that I tried so hard to take it home
But never felt a single moment
Life has been a place where I've wandered
Moving slowly to understand what I can grasp
But understand that it's still not right
So come back to me (he's always waiting)
I can't find it but maybe I'll cope
And can you hide it and never let go?
Come back to you, I only knew
Lies have covered all of the smiles
And wakened thoughts that have turned my heart
To face the wind
And then fall to where I know I'll fit, but you
Do you believe that I wanted
Something other than fallen hearts that just
Belong
To places where the bridges give in
Can you see what I felt when I told you
Can you cope when it runs right through you
Cause my heart it is broken with love that is
Coped
And now you tell me that I have something that's missing?
The lyrics to Falling Up's song Escalates speaks about the struggles of the singer in achieving his dreams and having something worth keeping. He had worked hard to secure what he wanted, but still couldn't feel satisfied with what he has. Life has been a bit of a mystery to him, and he's only been wandering around searching for something to grasp. There's still a sense of "not right" in everything that he does, and he's hoping that someone, maybe the woman he's singing to, would come back to him.
The chorus of the song emphasizes the singer's frustrations and inability to find what he's looking for. Despite his efforts to search for it, it always seems just out of reach. He's feeling lost and is trying to cope with everything. His heart is broken and filled with love that he cannot seem to control. And to add to that, he's being told by someone that he's missing something.
The lyrics reveal the struggles and feelings of the singer, portraying themes of loss, confusion, and a yearning for something more. It speaks to the human experience of trying to make sense of the world, trying to find something to hold onto, and the often tumultuous journey of achieving one's dreams.
