Quitate tu pa' ponerme yo, quitate tu
Para que bailen los pollos
Pa' que gocen se señor
No me importa lo que digan
Porque yo soy tiburon
Quitate tu pa' ponerme yo, quitate tu
Quitate tu pa' ponerme yo, quitate tu
Lo que se puede hacer hoy
Que, no no no no no
No dejes para mañana
Lo que se pueda hacer hoy
Abre paso molina que vengo acabando
Porque yo soy el que soy
Quitate tu pa' ponerme yo, quitate tu
Quitate tu pa' ponerme yo, quitate tu
Quitate tu pa' ponerme yo, quitate tu
Quitate tu pa' ponerme yo, quitate tu
Ay caballero yo le digo
Cuando me pongo a inspirar
Es que también soy de ponce
Y también yo se cantar
Por mi madre juro yo
that I will bring my all

When I performed at the Cheetah(in the summer of 1969 about fifty years ago),the venue was still R&B. We were the only Salsa Band there. We were booked there for a week. And we played upstairs in a lounge called the "Otis Redding Room". The stage was very high up like climbing up to a second floor, and we were performing behind a screen. The audience could see us, but we couldn't see the audience! We did get a chance to perform on the main stage once.
