This version appears on a compilation album called "Serve Chilled 2", but it released after Jet Set Radio. From what I can tell, the more common version was released before JSR got localized (May 1st, 2000, according to Catskills bandcamp page) but this version must've been chosen as an alternate way to possibly avoid any copyright issues with the beginning sample.
