Two singers can bring tears to my eyes just hearing them sing from the soul: David Phelps and Chris Stapleton. Anointed.
My wife walked in asking why I was teary-eyed listening to this. Vince Gill brought me to country music in the 80s when this song evoked strong emotion from within me. His voice is so unique. Chris Stapleton is so unique and soulful in a different but even stronger way. I never imagined I would hear this song sang by anyone that would rival and surpass Gill. Simply beautiful. Every time I hear him cover classic songs, he knocks it out of the park.

This song reminds me about my wife. It was her favorite song before she lost the battling to cancer, I wish I could change the hands of time, I miss her smiles, she was always there for me and our lovely daughter, and I never miss a moment with her, life could be so unfair most times, there is some pain, I will cry in vain but won’t let you know how I will feel yes, I will miss you to the core! but some times i wonder why bad thing always happen to good people. Chris Stapleton is something else..a talent I don't believe anyone seen in a long long time. Like voice from the past. He can sing country and that pop and soul stations will play it Because nobody can get enough of this man's voice. He's already a living legend
