Okay, so, Chrono Cross has a song called Chronopolis, and it has the EXACT same backbeat as this song. Identical. Just go listen to the first minute of that, and this again. I can't unhear it. Best heard at 0:40 in this song and the very start of Chronopolis.

The greatest song from FFX-2! I love this song! I used to just stand still in Zanarkand to hear this song on loop, it’s that good! Not only that, I was spending an evening in a beachfront city in my home state, and I put this song on, it really fit with the ambience of the city I was in! The best song in Final Fantasy history, at least imho.

I cant grasp the time and how much it went away, I only know thst now Im 21 and since I know about myself I adored FFX and FFX2. In a way I was always sad that there are no lot of ppl who talk about these games anymore. Im glad that somewhere on yt thede comments still exist as a proof that Im not alone but still....i feel so scared that one day this all thing will fade away. Truly masterpiece of it's time. I hope that one day I will talk about this game with more ppl.

nostalgia hit me harder than the crossfade im on. i was 8-10 when i first heard this im going to be 28 in a few hours and it still hits like the first day. This was my first fully engrossed rpg before kh2 and they are tied for soundtracks they straight stand on business.

Its sad no outlet online that i can find that has records of vgm has thia soundtrack. I searched everywhere i can think and short of downloading a yt videoi just keep running into the version form X1 which...its great but this one hits different like a nostalgic trip.

I could imagine this being the seaon 1 outro of a Zoids series 😂or Gundam series. So peaceful...

This song has a very strong Chrono Cross feel to it, love that game a lot, FFX-2 not so much, not after 6 times 99.9% mission completion rate, and the official guide's explanation of how to get that last .1% mission completion rate didn't work for me, either, never played this game again after that, so disappointed. This song rocks, though...

That's what I though too when I played it for the first time in 2008.

I gave it a try a few years ago in 2020 and I really liked it, absolute cringe, but pretty fun gameplay.

And well of course, the soundtrack.

honestly have to disagree, it's definitely not as good as FFX but I adored the ending and the details. Honestly pretty though game to beat with all kind of game tactics there are. Still, whoever adored FFX kinda liked FFX2. sure, it's not as good, but def one of my fav bad good games of my life. I just love seeing character development and ongoing story after Sin attack
