The ones who beat me down and bruise me
They hide just out of sight
Can't face me in the light
They'll return but I'll be stronger
God, I want to dream again
Take me where I've never been
This time I'm not scared
Now I am unbreakable, it's unmistakable
No one can touch me
Nothing can stop me
Sometimes it's hard to just keep going
But faith is moving without knowing
Can I trust what I can't see
To reach my destiny
I want to take control but I know better
Forget the fear it's just a crutch
That tries to hold you back
And turn your dreams to dust
All you need to do is just trust
The lyrics of Fireflight's song "Unbreakable" are a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. The opening lines, "Where are the people that accuse me? The ones who beat me down and bruise me" speak to the experience of being ostracized and bullied. However, the singer maintains her strength and says that the people who hurt her can't face her in the light, but she'll be stronger when they return. The chorus is a declaration of this newfound strength; the singer is unbreakable, and nothing can stop her.
In the second verse, the song becomes more introspective. The singer talks about how faith is something that can't always be seen, but it's necessary to reach one's destiny. She acknowledges that it's hard to keep going, but it's important to keep moving forward. The song ends on a note of hope, with the singer urging the listener to forget their fear and trust in themselves.
Overall, "Unbreakable" is a powerful anthem that encourages its listeners to believe in themselves and their ability to overcome adversity. The song is a reminder that no matter how hard life may get, we all have the strength within us to persevere.

As a recovering Christian I feel bad for people who think it's Christianity or eternal Hell as an alternative.
"It's not a religion, it's a relationship"...Okay. So a wealthy prince puts the word out that he's seeking his "Cinderella" for lack of a better analogy.
The first woman who steps up gains his "unconditional" love. She'll dwell in his mansion, she'll experience unparalleled bliss...but...
...the rest of the women will be thrown into his dungeon and tortured. That's NOT "unconditional".
That's like giving your wallet to a gun-wielding mugger and calling it "charity"
