The idea was to put together a band which would play hi-octane stadium rock in the good old 80's way, sounding larger than life.
Firenote's first line-up was:
Ricky - Vocals
Hammond - Keyboard
Isko - Guitar
Gene - Bass
Johnny - Drums
With the line-up above Firenote made three demos and played several gigs across Finland.
In the end of 2007 it was time to let Johnny go. As soon as Mike was found, he replaced Johnny with his ultimate drumming skills.
At the beginning of 2008 IVK Music was interested in signing Firenote.
A record deal was signed in the summer 2008.
Recording the debute album started in the end of 2008 and the album will be released in May 2009.
Danger
Firenote Lyrics

Drifting alone in the darkness
Yesterday she broke my heart
Tonight I fade into madness
Alcohol runs through my veins
I'm trying to picture you in my mind
You're the devil in disguise
Are you there for me
Will you wait for me
Will you be there for me one last time
Danger - she's high voltage danger
Don't try to hold it
Dange - she's high voltage danger
You can't control it - no more
Through the times we've wondered
I've tried to keep you too close to me
I've always had the same reaction
I can't get no satisfaction - no no no
Are you there for me
Will you wait for me
Will you be there for me one last time...
In "Danger," Firenote's lead singer expresses his feelings of heartbreak and loneliness through his powerful lyrics. The first two lines of the song immediately set the tone for the feeling of uncertainty and desperation that the singer seems to be facing. He then goes on to describe how his mind keeps drifting towards someone who is essentially the object of his obsession. The mention of alcohol indicates that he's trying to rationalize his pain through substance abuse.
The singer then addresses the person who is the source of his pain, describing her as a "devil in disguise" and an "ultimate lover". This phrase has a double meaning, as she may have been a great lover at one point, but also someone who could manipulate him in a way that caused him emotional pain. The chorus expands on these feelings of helplessness, describing her as a "high voltage danger" that he can't control.
Throughout the song, Firenote portrays a very dire situation where the singer feels trapped and suffocated by the overwhelming feelings of love and loss. The singer acknowledges that he's tried to "keep her too close," but that ultimately, he can't get the satisfaction he needs from this person. The last line of the song, "Will you be there for me one last time," implies that the singer may be ready to move on from this person, however, the lyrics leave the story unfinished and open to interpretation.
