Victim
First Blood Lyrics

Victims digging our own graves
Terror
Horror
Fear within their veins passed down along a never ending chain
Another victim dies
The lies kill both sides
No regard
Understand the effects kill two ways, killing the life, killing the soul
Fall victim to their lies
Defend a way of life you can't justify
How many more must die? defend your life, defend your soul, but you will pay for what you've done
Set your stake and place a price with no respect for life
Raping, pillaging, someday you will pay
Taking, displacing, someday you will pay
Mock me, belittle me, someday you will pay
Another victim dies
Fall victim to their lies
The lyrics of First Blood's song "Victim" talk about the cycle of violence and how it affects everyone in the long run. The first few lines of the song urge listeners to defend their lives and souls, highlighting the fact that we are always at risk of succumbing to the horrors and terrors of life. The lyrics then go on to talk about how people are digging their own graves as victims of this cycle of violence. Fear and terror run deep within people's veins, passed down through generations.
The song then takes a turn, questioning the lies that people believe in and how they end up killing both sides. The lyrics point out that there is no regard or respect for life and how these effects can kill in two ways - killing the physical body and the soul. The song urges people to defend their lives and souls, but at the same time, warns that they will automatically pay for the wrongs they've committed.
The chorus of the song talks about the consequences of one's actions and how someday, they will pay for what they've done. The lyrics then go on to list various wrongs, such as raping, pillaging, and taking away what's rightfully someone else's. The song ends ominously with the line, "Another victim dies, fall victim to their lies," emphasizing the fact that the cycle of violence never seems to stop.
