Influenced by bands like the Misfits, Turbonegro, Mötorhead, Mad Sin, The Peacocks but also by Elvis Presley and many others they've created their own version of punk, rock'n'roll, hardrock and hardcore. Flaming Cocks play Turbo Rock'n'Roll! Their music is a mixture of punk playfulness and hard-core attack. All is wrapped up in a rock'n'roll veil. Slapping bass, melodic singalongs, hard guitars and attacking percussions are rushing ahead like a steam locomotive. Crazy drive!
Flaming Cocks were formed in 2002 and played over 150 of gigs and appeared on big summer festivals in the Czech Republic such as Rock For People, Trutnov Open Air or Mighty Sounds, toured Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Hungary. The band played with many great independent bands such as Misfits, The Adicts, Demented Are Go!, The Peacocks, Peter Pan Speedrock, Maxeen, No Comply, Up To Vegas, Defiance and others. Thier first album called Cockain was released in May 2006.
Band ends with activities in Rock café on 2 February 2008.

Something To Die For
Flaming Cocks Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Staring at the wall and let the time just pass me by
You might think you know me, but it's all just a
face
Trying to ignore when people screaming my name
(Screaming my name)
Walking by a house with colorful lights
There's a sign, an invitation from the woman
Talk about your boyfriend, talk about your wife
It's just a different way of living your life
When something's right, then something is worth
to die for
When I feel that something is wrong, then
something is worth to fight for
Don't say goodbye, just leave an open door
I wanna hear you say, you give me something to
die for
Searching for another reason to stay
Slowly my regrets are fading away
You leave me on my own to find out what's real
You say you want your freedom, but it's not how I
feel
When something's right, then something is worth
to die for
When I feel that something is wrong, then
something is worth to fight for
Don't say goodbye, just leave an open door
I wanna hear you say, you give me something to
die for
When I feel that something is right
You give me something to die for
When something's right, then something is worth
to die for
When I feel that something is wrong, then
something is worth to fight for
When something's right, then something is worth
to die for
When I feel that something is wrong, then
something is worth to fight for
Don't say goodbye, just leave an open door
I wanna hear you say, you give me something to
die for
I wanna hear you say, you give me something to
die for
I wanna hear you say, you give me something to
die for
The lyrics to Flaming Cock's song "Something To Die For" describe the search for meaning and purpose in life. The singer is working late, feeling bored and unfulfilled with their current situation. They come across a house with colorful lights and are drawn to an invitation from a woman inside. The woman talks about her partner and suggests that there are different ways of living one's life. The singer contemplates what they are willing to live and die for, and concludes that something worth dying for is also worth fighting for. The song emphasizes the idea that having a sense of purpose and meaning in life is essential to leading a fulfilling life.
Throughout the song, there is a sense of questioning and uncertainty. The singer is searching for answers about what they want in life and what they are willing to fight for. The song encourages listeners to think about their own lives and what they are willing to live and die for. The line "I wanna hear you say, you give me something to die for" suggests that human connection and relationships can also bring meaning and purpose to life.
