I was today years old when I even knew there was another version…. I knew you couldn’t get this on Apple Music which is what I use and pay for…so I’ve been coming back to this very video for yearssssssss lol anyways I just went and listened to the version you mention and I’m comparison I just can’t listen to that other version.

wow, just so many emotions flooding me while listening. i remember listening to this when i was 10/11 and i had an english class when we were supposed to translate a song and i choose this one (i'm swedish so i translated it to my mother tongue). i still had no idea of what the hell the song was about but now, 13 years later i have a whole other understanding of myself, my emotional connection to this song and also all the beautiful lyrics.

I love Flyleaf. I saw them in March and I don't know what it was but it really got to me, and I finally knew what I meant to do with my life. (No I didn't find God, shut up so what if they're Christian). Flyleaf are such an amazing band whether you like this genre or not, their lyrics speak something that too many people are too scared to say, which is what music should be.

I absolutely love Flyleaf. They are just awesome people that LOVE God (whether you believe in Him or not) and they LOVE (genuinly love) others! It's so awesome. I got to see them in concert and they were VERY good.

I remember listening to this when I was in high school (like 12 years ago) and still sounds as emotional & beautiful as the day I fell in love with this. There are hundreds of versions of this song and I do love the version they released and put in New Horizons (which everyone was waiting for), but this one always takes me back to the days I was riding my bicycle at night trying to get lost in the dark, which is, to cheapen what it actually was, such an emo thing to do lol, but I needed these moments and this track was always there for me.

I can tell you that Flyleaf is my all time favorite band forever. I haven't been listening them for a while now, but they're still always in my heart. Always when I felt that I'm not good enough, or I just felt like everything is totally messed up, Flyleaf helped me. Their music has always been my saver.

Una vez... allá por los 2000 (2007 u 2008, no recuerdo bien el año) existía una app llamada Ares, donde descargamos música los jóvenes de ese entonces. En el canal Animax, daban el anime llamado Trinity Blood, el cual me encantaba y amaba su OST, la canción del ending se llamaba Broken Wings. Entonces así... coloque ese nombre en el Ares y me descargó esta canción. desde el primer instante... LA AMÉ!!! e investigue más del grupo y encontré que me gustaron muchas de sus canciones. En ese entonces mi ignorancia no me dejaba creer que era Rock Cristiano. Pero me alegra tanto haberme equivocado y haber descargado esta sublime obra maestra. Que hermosa época viví. Y amo este pequeño grato recuerdo. 💕 amo a Flyleaf, es 2023 y aquí sigo. Saludos desde Guatemala. 🇬🇹

I love this song! When I say this next comment, I am not trying to say whether or not Flyleaf is a Christian band or not. This song tells us just how loving God is. He is such a friend to those who believe in Him and is always there for them. He is even there for people who don't believe. He is always there to pick us up when we fall. And because we are human, we constantly fall short of His grace, yet He sent Christ to make up for our short-comings.

I wish this version was on iTunes. Though this version might be slower it is still much better and i hate they cut out lyrics in New Horizons. I love this song so much to the point to where nothing should be cut out.
