Fonogenico consisted of 高山奈帆子 (Naoko Takayama) (vocals and lyrics) and 川口潤 (Masaru Kawaguchi)(piano, keyboards, composition).
They released four singles in total, entilted respectively "Reason", "Rhythm", "Orange Sand" and "You aren't there/raindrops", and a mini-album, entitled "Negaigoto".
In 2008, Kawaguchi retired and Fonogenico effectively disbanded.
However, singer Takayama went on to create a new "band" for her solo work, entitled カルネイロ (Carneiro).
On the 26th of May 2010, Naoko released her first mini-album as Carneiro.
