Wo-ooh, woo-ooh
Wo-ooh, woo-ooh
Wo-ooh, woo-ooh
Wo-ooh, woo-ooh
Wo-ooh, woo-ooh
Wo-ooh, woo-ooh
And I′m trying, it's getting faster to change
The waste of a time (find another line)
And I′m trying, it's getting faster to change
The waste of a time (find another line)
Let me tell you, life is too short, don't waste your time
I never like to wait, I won′t down without a fight
I′m not afraid, this is my way to a brighter day
Replace what's missing, just believing
And I′m trying, it's getting faster to change
The waste of a time (find another line)
And I′m trying, it's getting faster to change
The waste of a time (find another line)
(I will pay for all my fault with no hesitation)
(Hesitation)
I′ve been waiting for a place
Where wrong to be right
I see my reflection
I see my reflection
And I'm trying, it's getting faster to change
The waste of a time (find another line)
And I′m trying, it′s getting faster to change
The waste of a time (find another line)
I've learned that no matter what happens
Or how bad it seems today
Life does go on
And it will be better tomorrow
I believe
I′ve learned that making a living
Is not the same thing as making a life
I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance
Yes, a second chance
And I′m trying, it's getting faster to change
The waste of a time, find another line
And I′m trying, it's getting faster to change
The waste of a time, find another line
The song "Second Chance" by For Revenge is a reflection on the importance of not wasting time and taking advantage of the second chances that life offers. The opening "wo-ooh, woo-ooh" is a call to action, urging the listener to take control of their life and not let time slip away. The lyrics go on to encourage the listener to make changes to their life and not be afraid to fight for what they want.
The lines "Let me tell you, life is too short, don't waste your time" and "I′m not afraid, this is my way to a brighter day" further emphasize the importance of not wasting time and taking charge of one's life. The chorus repeats the message of changing one's life and not wasting time. The line "I′ve learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance, yes, a second chance" drives home the idea that it's never too late to make changes and start over.
In summary, "Second Chance" is a message of hope and encouragement to not let time slip away and to take advantage of the opportunities that life presents. It urges listeners to fight for what they want and to make the changes necessary for a brighter future.
