The band issued their debut EP, “Come Alive” in early 2015, which saw downloads in over 25 different countries and led to licensing deals with TVLand, TuneCore, and Fox Sports. Their debut LP, “Paradigm” was released on April 1 2016, followed by extensive regional and national touring, sharing the stage with the likes of X Ambassadors, American Authors and Smallpools.

First question you asked me, "what this song about"
Answer: its mocking how alot of famous peoples songs have little to no meaning and also about how people just tell them what to sing to make people famous, so basically alot of famous people are famous because someone said they would make them famous and then pulled some strings, this also supports my personal theory that I dont have proof for (since I haven't looked for any) that alot of people are famous only because people say there famous and then peer pressure on society makes people like there songs or rather "like" there songs till said person has given into the lie they have been telling themselves

There employee wants to be a star yet they dont make there music (which has no in in depth meaning) and they dont understand what's it's about hence "tell me what's my art about" line
And is appear the one employing them doesnt really care about there employees dreams and cares "oh you have dreams? That's cute"
Another part of the song says "be this, you'll be a star" meaning they dont care about the person they just want them to be what makes them money the other line supporting that is "while your here, there are a couple of things you'll need to change"
