The lyrics of Forever M.C.'s song Move on describes the story of a protagonist and his accomplice's attempt to rob and carjack people. The first verse of the song describes the appearance of two suspicious men wearing black Dickies and dirty white T-Shirts, who have outstanding warrants and are armed. The singer of the song proceeds to run them in for questioning. The second verse details the singer's thoughts on performing a 211 (armed robbery) and his preparation for the event. After scouting the neighborhood and seeing a Mustang, he follows the car and attempts to carjack it with his girlfriend, who ends up shooting one of the car's occupants. The third verse describes a different scenario where the singer's goal is to strip another car for its valuable parts.
