Time To Dream

The opposite of you
And no one tries to understand
Your point of view
Your plans for the future
Never turn out as you mean
Find a quiet place somewhere
And take some time to dream
Take some time to dream about the way your life could be
Time to make believe what could've been
Take some time to dream about the way the world could be
If everybody took some time to dream
When the road ahead is hazy
And the sun is in your eyes
There's so much left behind you
You never realize
That's when you go crazy
The world can make you mean
That's when you should make time
Take some time to dream
Take some time to dream about the way the world could be
If everybody took some time to dream
It's time to dream
Make some time for yourself
To look inside your mind
Forget the world around you
Who knowswhat you will find
Take some time to dream about the way your life could be
Time to make believe what could've been
Take some time to dream about the way the world could be
If everybody took some time to dream
It's time to dream (repeats until end)
The song "Time To Dream" by Fortran 5 is a motivational piece that inspires listeners to take a step back and dream about the possibilities of their life and the world around them. The lyrics encourage individuals to take a moment away from the pressures of society to find a quiet place to dream, as sometimes it may feel like no one else understands or believes in their aspirations. The chorus urges listeners to take the time to dream about what their life and the world could be like if everyone did the same.
The second verse emphasizes the challenges that come with moving forward in life, as sometimes the future may seem unclear or hazy. However, the songs suggest that during these times when it feels like the world is against us, we should take some time for ourselves and dream of the possibilities. The song concludes with a repetition of the chorus that is catchy and uplifting, leaving listeners with a message that promotes a positive and hopeful outlook on life.

All these years and finally discovered the opening guitar-ish riff is from a song from 1968 - "Just Dropped In" by Kenny Rogers & First Edition.
