In 2000, a mash-up was produced, taking the music of Fragma's Toca Me and placing the vocals from Coco's I Need A Miracle over the top and renamed Toca's Miracle which gained further attention from DJs Pete Tong and Judge Jules. As Fragma and Coco were on the same record label at the time (Positiva), an official release was made, and went straight to number 1 in the UK charts, as well as in Australia and Ireland.
In 2001, an album was released; Toca, as well as two other singles; Everytime You Need Me (UK #3 hit), which featured vocals by Maria Rubia, and You Are Alive (UK #4 hit) with vocals by Damae.
2002 saw Dirk and Marco set up their own studio, called Evergreen-Terrace.
In 2002, Fragma were permanently operating with vocalist Damae, and have released a second album; Embrace, with hit singles such as Say That You're Here (UK #25 hit), Embrace Me, Man In The Moon and Time And Time Again.
Dirk and Marco are also currently working as a duo under their surname Duderstadt. So far two singles have been released under this name; Sunrise and Taking Over. A third single, Mahananda is expected to be released soon.
The latest release by Duderstadt is Smile, for which they worked with Anita Kelsey. Remixes were provided by the likes of Alex M.O.R.P.H. and Duende.
You Are The One

You're doing fine
Most of the time
You sit and wonder
What tomorrow brings
All kinds of things
You hesitate
Just like you've never
Been in love before
There's so much more
On your own
And though you feel alone
You are alive
Don't you know
It's just another day
All alone
Into this world we're thrown
You are alive
Don't you know
It's just another day
On your own
And though you feel alone
You are alive
Don't you know
It's just another day
You turn around
You're lost and found
Looking for someone
Who will understand
Or hold your hand
You count the days
A hopeless case
But for the first time
You will wait for me
Patiently
On your own
And though you feel alone
You are alive
Don't you know
It's just another day
All alone
Into this world we're thrown
You are alive
Don't you know
It's just another day
On your own
And though you feel alone
You are alive
Don't you know
It's just another day
All alone
Into this world we're thrown
You are alive
Don't you know
It's just another day
On your own
And though you feel alone
You are alive
Don't you know
It's just another day
All alone
Into this world we're thrown
You are alive
The song "You Are Alive" by Fragma is an uplifting track about the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity. The lyrics talk about the daily struggles we all face and how we can feel lost and alone at times, but ultimately we are all alive and should celebrate that fact. The song urges the listener to embrace life and all the challenges that come with it, as they are what make us who we are. The recurring theme throughout the song is the idea that even when we feel like we are on our own, we are never really alone.
The opening lines "You're doing fine, most of the time" set the tone for the song. The lyrics acknowledge that life can be tough, but encourages the listener to keep going. The lines "All alone, into this world we're thrown, you are alive, don't you know, it's just another day" serve as a reminder that we are all in this together, and that every day is an opportunity to take on new challenges and adventures. The chorus repeats throughout the song, reminding the listener that despite any feelings of isolation or despair, they are still alive and should take heart in that fact.
Overall, "You Are Alive" is a song about perseverance, hope, and the power of the human spirit. It encourages listeners to embrace life, no matter what comes their way.
