Sony had him for a hot minute, but were too dumb to realize what a "ready-made" talent he was (wound up sitting on his now-unsung classic 'Love Stories' solo debut A FULL YEAR before finally getting off their sorry behinds to release it and then subsequently letting it go right out-of-print on CD:::shaking head:::). Don't think the man himself ever forgave them for it, either. Would like to see him catch on with either Blue Note, Concord, Dome, or Shanachie if only to get most of his work professionally re-mixed/remastered and properly reissued for once. I didn't even realize he put out an album a few years back until just recently and now I'm pissed to find out all available CD copies are gone! Oh, the times we're living in when we have to keep chasing the good stuff until the point of total collapse from exhaustion:::sigh:::
