Frankie Goes to Hollywood Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

An orgasm has become one of the most mystifying states of feeling
Um..nobody can be quite sure if they have it or not
Um is it just ejaculation or is it orgasm?
Is it just involuntary pelvic contractions
Or is it one heavy orgasm?

In communist Poland in the 1980s it was a hit on the state radio. Nobody understood the lyrics, but everyone liked the music very much.

В конце 80-х у нас в СССР показывали чешский фильм "Боны и покой". Я в нём услышал первый раз эту песню. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_LjN599ehI

And the video was released many times on public TV by Krzysztof Szewczyk (in the 80s), the program was called Videoteka or Jarmark (I don't remember exactly). I was more a bit than 10 years old and I loved it! :). Probably I also did not understand the sense but the song was great! ... from these years and this program I also remember Shakin Stevens, Limahl, Duran Duran, Wham, GM, Elton John....hehe.... eh those beutiful young times!....;)

The energy on the dance floor in the 80's was unbelievable. If you didn't leave the floor soaking wet...you did it all wrong.
