Born an 80’s baby, straight out of Passaic, New Jersey. Coming from a musically inclined background, influenced by many genres of music, FredStar offers an array of music to any audience. As early as the age of 15 FredStar’s humble beginnings rapping in the basement with friends, that later became his fellow Capsquad members, to educating himself in several other areas of media such as photography and video has contributed to the songwriter/producer and visual artist that is become FredStar. After going through many set backs in life and his journey of musical elevation, FredStar believes patience, hard work and dedication all pay off in the end.
Setting the Groundwork…
FredStar’s plan for success is manifesting through M-Duce and M-Duce Vision, a music and video production company founded in 2006. FredStar has created a two-edge sword to cut right into the music industry and leave his mark. Producing, directing and editing 90% of his own promotional material, FredStar is for the most part a single unit force.
Accomplishments/Acknowledgments…
Writing songs like “Mighty Mega” and “Without You”, FredStar has been given the opportunity to do North Bergen High School’s Basketball themes and promotional drops for recognized radio personality, DJ Carl Blaze on 105.1 fm. FredStar has continued to perform at numerous NY/NJ events and feature on records crossing over to the pop rock market, working with Florida based Indie artist, Phil Coale. FredStar’s music has been aired on 96.5 fm, Myeliteradio 97.5 fm, and Power 105.1 fm. He has recently signed a contract with OMPmusic/R.I.L. management group for digital distribution under Sony Music. From the small stage to the bigger arenas, FredStar is a welcoming presence.
