@SacredFire cannabis does help with anxiety as far as I'm aware. A friend of mine suffers from bad social anxiety and smoking really helps him. He only does it when he has a panic attack or feels one comming, so he's not addicted like some people claim you get by trying it once. I have bad agoraphobia and depression aswell but sadly I'm not allowed to use it as germany is still very old-fashioned when it comes to marihuana consumption

He is risking everything to legalise the cannabis treatment for the people who have cerebral palsy and severe autism. I have a two children with autism (4 & 2), my oldest does the self harm stimming as well. He currently takes clonidine to calm him. But it does take a lot of sensory regulation to bring him down as well. Once he’s old enough and if he still has these problems I would definitely look to this as an option.

That's my literal nightmare. But I don't know what it's like to be a parent. If that was my child, I would expect the same of myself in terms of love and dedication.

I could never fully understand what this poor child is going through, but as someone who fought through all of those terrible medidations myself, I cant even imagine the trauma or reactions she could have felt from even those smaller negative side-effects. It wasnt until I found cannabis myself that PTSD, Anxiety, OCD, and my general mental health finally improved, and I have also been able to see this difference in my father who has PTSD from Law Enforcement and EMS in the past.

I have a illness that causes severe nausea and pain in my stomach and it took a whole year and a half to try cannabis for my symptoms and I gotta say that it’s helped a whole heck of a lot more then any other medication I was given. It takes away all the bad in the matter of minutes. It’s obviously not for everybody but it really does help. Praying for this family ❤

Only loving parents would do anything for there children I can relate to this as my son was battling cancer this helped him so much as I was growing up I was against all this until it happened to our family I researched everything immediately to find how to help our son this was it ! I now have a different look at cannabis!

It's the face of an addict. She literally beats herself until she gets a fix. There's no evidence that it had happened before these treatments, they'd been using this treatment for a while before positing this recording.

i saw this clip on tv years ago and felt instantly connected to kara in ways i didn’t comprehend then (i recall footage of her meltdowns being the most impactful) - fast forward to today i have been diagnosed as autistic and after one of my meltdowns i remembered this story. so i decided to try cannabis to see if it could help me like it helped kara - it really does bring down the panic and soaking physical pain in ways nothing else does, thank you for taking this risk for your daughter and being brave enough to share it to help other people like her too ❤

The way they never gave up no matter how hard and how difficult it may be to help his daughter shows the compassion and love that every parent needs to have to gamble their freedom for her better health I would gladly take the chance of some time in a cell for my daughter

I’m a 45 year old man who never gets emotional.. this hits me man.. as a father it hits me. Hats off to this man and any law enforcement agency that would take action against such a profound act of pure love should be forced to look at what this family goes through and the immediate relief their daughter gets from what their doing.
The laws are so outdated and must be changed.

When she was hitting herself it pained me, she wasn't hitting herself softly but she was legit punching herself and that's surely very painful. I can't imagine the pain her father goes through. Hope their situation can become better

When I saw her hitting her face and the bruising immediately I felt myself tearing up…I can’t imagine what she and her family goes through. My heart breaks for them.
