Feels Like Home
Fulcrum Lyrics

You're a bit too late,
Everything's appeared so clear,
but a blur's all that remains, yeah, yeah.
What feels like home isn't like what it used to be,
And I'm all out of what once was so good to me,
So if you've got a problem, then let it go,
If at all you find yourself uncomfotably sheer,
Well maybe you should ask yourself,
Just what it is you fear, yeah, yeah.
What feels like home isn't like what it used to be,
And I'm all out of what once was so good to me,
So if you've got a problem, then let it go,
Cause in the end he said 'it looks like money to me' yeah.
yeah,
What feels like home isn't like what it used to be,
And I'm all out of what once was so good to me,
So if you've got a problem, then let it go,
Cause in the end he said 'it looks like money to meeeee ooooooh oooh.
The lyrics of Fulcrum's song "Feels Like Home" seem to convey a sense of disappointment and disillusionment with the idea of home and the past. The singer starts by delivering some bad news, suggesting that it is too late for something to be as it once was. Despite everything appearing clear at one point, now it all seems blurred and unclear. This could symbolize a loss of clarity or understanding in the singer's life, perhaps in relation to their sense of home or comfort.
The repeated refrain of "What feels like home isn't like what it used to be" reflects a longing for something that has changed or evolved over time. The singer acknowledges that they are "all out of what once was so good to me," indicating a sense of nostalgia or yearning for a past that is no longer attainable. This could speak to themes of loss, growth, and the inevitable changes that come with time.
The line "Cause in the end he said 'it looks like money to me'" introduces a new perspective on the situation. It suggests that perhaps the singer's concept of home or happiness has been distorted or influenced by external factors, such as societal pressures or materialistic values. This could imply a realization that what once felt like home may have been driven by superficial or fleeting motivations.
The song's closing lines continue to emphasize the disconnect between the singer's current experience and their past perceptions of home. The repeated plea to "let it go" implies a need to release old attachments or expectations in order to move forward. The final refrain, with its drawn-out vocalizations, conveys a sense of longing or unresolved emotion. Overall, the lyrics of "Feels Like Home" express a complex mix of nostalgia, disappointment, and the struggle to find a sense of belonging in a world that is constantly changing.
