Early on, the band was called Anesthesia (as a tribute to Cliff Burton). When the band was about to release their first album, planned to be self-titled, they found out someone else had already copyrighted Anesthesia as a band name. Fun People, the name of a fanzine Nekro made and sold at the band's concerts, was chosen as the band's new name and Anesthesia remained as the album's title.

recuerdo que un compa del colegio, cuando tenia no se, unos 15 años masomenos, me regalo un cassette grabado con este cd y del lado b tenia la mitad de anesthesia...fue un viaje de ida, nunca mas pude dejar de escuchar a esta banda. De esto hace ya masomenos 17 añsos ... una de mis 5 bandas favoritas de argentina sin ninguna duda...

Me acuerdo de estar parado en un lateral del puente que cuelga sobre el Rio Neuquen en Cipolletti, sur patagonico, y escuchar este tema en un cassette transparente en mi walkman barato, mientras miraba explotar hormigueros negros en la costa abandonada del rio. Entre la mugre, los autos abandonados, la ausencia de personas. Parece que hubiera sido ayer realmente. Siempre me senti profundamente solo, pero este tema siempre me dio tanta energia, tanta certeza y resilencia sobre mi propia soledad. Siguen pasando los años y no hay vez que no me conmueva, me de fuerza, me agite el corazon. Yo tampoco supe nunca en quien confiar, excepto en mis amigos.
