Whiteman recruited Dean Cramer (guitar), Billy Andrews (guitar), Ned Meloni (bass) and Geoff Burell (drums). The band hit every smoke filled bar they could find, and impressed audiences with their original songs and KIX classics.
The signed with the independent label Kivel Records and released their self-titled debut in 1997. Of course music from this genre was completely ignored by radio and television, but Whiteman and his new band refused to sell out to the masses.
Two more albums would follow before personnel changes hit the band in 2002. Andrews, Meloni and Burell left amicably to be replaced by Louis Coppola, Mark Schenker and Sam Stilwell respectively for the Skin To Skin album, but a short time later KIX alumni Jimmy Chalfant was recruited on drums and Rob Galpin on guitar. IN mid-2006 original member Dean Cramer left to persue other interests, including a European tour as a hired guitar slinger, leaving Steve, Jimmy, Rob and Mark choosing not to replace him and forge ahead as a four piece.
In 2007, they released the album Stick It! on Perris Records with Steve Whiteman (Vocals), Mark Schenker (Bass), Rob Galpin (Guitar), and Jimmy Chalfant (drums). The album was mixed by mega-platinum rock producer Beau Hill (Ratt, Winger, Warrant, Alice Cooper).

My living doll I hear you call
She's my ball baby ball
Yeah she's keeping me up all night
Honey hush don't you cry
Gonna sing you a lullabye
Now I know everything's gonna be all right
I got mixed emotions
Just my way cast out the doubts
There's a love that you feel
That's so deep that's so real
Now isn't that what life is all about
Always hold me squeeze me
Knows just how to please me
She's the coffee in my cup
Can't deny those big blue eyes
Both her arms held way up high
She's my little pick me up
Been passed around all over town
She goes up she goes down
They say she's been held by every other boy
All that talk about you can it be that it's all true
A nasty reputation to destroy
Love me touch me
Just can't get too much now
She's the coffee in my cup
Lay your head on my heart
They can't tear us apart
She's my little pick me up
She's my little pick me up
She's my little pick me up
She's my little pick me up
Woo
My livin' doll I hear you call
She's my ball baby ball
No more sneakin' 'round or secret rendezvous
I don't care what they think I follow my own instincts
Nobody else had to walk in my shoes
Gonna hold her squeeze her
Never gonna leave her
She's the coffee in my cup
Can't deny these big blue eyes
Both her arms held way up high
She's my little pick me up
She's my little pick me up
She's my little pick me up
She's my little pick me up
She's my little pick me up
She's my little pick me up
She's my little pick me up
She's my little pick me up
Woo
