I always knew that i would be somebody too
I always knew that i would be somebody too
I always knew that i would be somebody too
The repetition of "I always knew that I would be somebody too" in Furry Phreaks's song Want Me Like Water emphasizes the singer's determination to succeed and make a name for themselves. The repetition also suggests that the singer had to work hard to achieve their goals and that they never lost sight of their dreams. The phrase "somebody too" is particularly significant as it implies that the singer is not satisfied with simply being somebody, but they want to achieve the same level of success as someone else. This desire to achieve is further emphasized by the comparison to water, which is powerful and unrelenting.
The lyrics of this song can also be interpreted as a message of empowerment to listeners. The repeated phrase "I always knew that I would be somebody too" can be seen as a call to action for anyone who may feel like they are not important or cannot achieve greatness. The song suggests that if the singer can achieve their goals, so can anyone else.
