Go, go, go New Justice Team
Go team, go team, team team team
Whose that newest Justice Team
The New Justice Team
Captain Yesterday is fast
Not just fast but from the past
Captain Yesterday!
Super King has all the powers of a King
Plus all the power of Superman,
Also he's a robot
Ain't it cool? Super King you rule!
Cloberella beats you up
Cloberella beats you up
Who does she beat up? You!!
Cloberella!
Citizens, never fear
Crazy do-good freaks are here
Until they run out of steam...
Miracle cream, miracle cream
Gives the power to the team
Its effects wear off for sure
So they just slop on some more
The New Justice Team!
THE NEW JUSTICE TEAM ENDING THEME CREDITS
In typical Fox fashion this song and animation that played over the end credits was not aired. It is sung to the same music as the above song and will more than likely be able to be heard on the Season 4 DVD's when they are released.
Go, go, go New Justice Team
Fighting justice is their quest
Super King, Cloberella
And all the rest
Here's to you new Justice Team
Do the things that make a team
Help each other do some things
Winners don't use drugs!
The New Justice Team!
The lyrics of the Futurama song "Theme from Less than Heroes" are a playful and humorous introduction to the New Justice Team, a parody of traditional superhero teams. The song celebrates the team's unique abilities and personalities while also poking fun at some of the tropes commonly found in superhero stories.
The song begins by rallying the listeners to support the New Justice Team, emphasizing their camaraderie and unity as a team. Each member of the team is introduced with their own verse. Captain Yesterday, who is fast and from the past, represents the classic time-traveling hero archetype. Super King possesses both the powers of a king and Superman, making him a formidable robotic hero. Cloberella, on the other hand, is portrayed as a fierce fighter who beats up anyone who crosses her.
As the song progresses, a sense of lightheartedness and absurdity prevails. The citizens are encouraged not to fear because the New Justice Team is there to save the day, although their efforts may be short-lived as they rely on a miracle cream for their powers. The song ends with a nod to the team's dynamic and the importance of teamwork, along with a playful reminder to "winners don't use drugs."
Overall, the lyrics of the song convey a sense of fun and satire, highlighting the quirky and unconventional nature of the New Justice Team.

Moist Bender
Hermes: "Yes! I saved the Earth, and won back my woman! Right, woman?"
Lebarbara: "Oh, Hermes, I've been such a fool! Surely, I married you for your sexy potato body, but I'm stayin' with you for your sexy potato head!"
Nudar: "Nice attack, doo-doo-heads! Too bad we have one last trick up our sleeve!"
Amy: "I doubt that!"
Nudar: "Remember this, Farnsworth?"
Farnsworth: "'Farnsworth.' That's me!"
Nudar: (Pulls out satchel)
Farnsworth: "My doomsday device! So, it was the scammers! They sawed off my hand, and stole the doomsday device!"
Bender: "It wasn't them. It was me! Bender! The master criminal!"
Nudar: "So, what'll it be? Unconditional surrender?"
Leela: "Never!"
Nudar: "Or total destruction?"
Leela: Also never!"
Nudar: "You have thirty seconds. Make up your minds!"
Leela: "Never!'
Bender: "People, I'm sorry. You've never before heard me say those words, or even the individual letters that make them up, but I am. And with a huge amount of modesty, I humbly beg your forgiveness." (Winks and pulls out the doomsday device) "Shut up, and keep looking apologized to." (Loads doomsday device)
Leela: (Fires doomsday device)
Nudar: "Uh-oh. I have a worry-some shriveling sensation in my spronger." (Opens the dummy satchel. Looks up to see the real doomsday device)
The Scammers: (Panick and then fucking die)
Fry: "Bender. How the Hulk did you end up with the doomsday device?"
Bender: (Laughs) "I was working the long con all along. While sawing off the professor's hand with an extremely dull saw, I had some time to think. So, I asked myself, 'who could use a doomsday device more? The scammers, or me, Bender?' After several minutes of sawing, I knew the answer. 'Me, Bender.' So, I retrieved the dummy satchel, and as soon as I was out of the scammers' control, I pulled the old switcheroo. And that's how I saved Earth, and am the greatest."
And that's how Bender is the greatest. Yeah, I've seen some episodes too many times.

How does this still sound wonderfully futuristic nearly 20 years later?

Because it's the SAME FUCKING PIECE OF MUSIC.

I think it sounds futuristic because it has a 5/4 times in its notes (at least in the sound of bells) black, white, black, black, black/ black, white, black, black, black,/ [again]. I realized when in the compass heard it. That has notes with 5/4 and maybe it sounds futuristic because the pop music and great part of our music of all genres are based in 4/4 times. 5/4 with one note more, plus something, like if our 2000's music sounds 4/4 yeah? In 3000's we have 5/4. And its instruments are very similar like future computers, robots, metal, cyborgs, and aliens. Each instrument sounds a different thing. The bells sound to me like living robots.
