After releasing a series of moderately successful mixtapes between 2010 and 2011, Future signed a major label deal with Epic Records and fellow American rapper Rocko's A1 Recordings, which helped launch his own label imprint Freebandz. Future subsequently began working on his debut studio album "Pluto," and in April 2012 released the album to positive reviews. The album spawned five singles, all of which charted on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was later re-released in November, as "Pluto 3D." His second studio album "Honest," was released on April 22, 2014, and is also performing with his group Freeband Gang. He released his highly anticipated third studio album, "DS2," on July 16, 2015. The Atlanta rapper also released several mixtapes during 2015, "Beast Mode" in January, "56 Nights" in March, and "What a Time to Be Alive (with Drake)" in September. Future released "Purple Reign" in January 2016. The 13-track mixtape was executive produced by Metro Boomin and DJ Esco, with additional production from Southside, Zaytoven, and more.
Turn Up
Future Lyrics

I have little need for material stuff
The promotional bullshit you push in my face
Is really just a big waste
This need for greed, this I need more
This unfulfillment, yeah whatโs it all for
I donโt give a damn about what you own
Cause when you leave this life, yeah youโre leaving alone
Turn up the music, the music
We need the music, the music
All we need is the music, the music
Turn up the music, the music
We need the music, the music
It doesnโt matter what youโve been told
You wonโt find peace in what you hold
You donโt need eyes, for you to see
Itโs what you give that sets you free
I know itโs clichรฉ, but itโs still true
That you need me and I need you
Cause you and me, weโre just human
All we need is love and the music
All we need is the music, the music
Turn up the music, the music
We need the music, the music
All we need is the music, the music
Turn up the music, the music
We need the music, the music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
All we need is music
We need is the music, the music
Turn up the music, the music
We need the music, the music
All we need is the music, the music
Turn up the music, the music
We need the music, the music
In Future's song "Turn Up," the artist addresses the excitement and energy of going out and partying with friends. The song begins with a quick introduction from Abu, Future's friend and collaborator, followed by a call-out to DJ X Tray Day. The opening lyrics set the tone for the rest of the song โ a celebration of life, fun, and friendship.
Future's lyrics mention having "two catches in the bag already dead," indicating that he and his friends have already had some successes or good times before making it out to the club. As they head out, Future encourages his friends to seize the day and fully enjoy themselves, saying "Cause every time a free man can come here/You know we got to turn up." He repeats the phrase "turn up" several times, using it as a call to action and a declaration of their wild behavior.
Near the end of the song, Future seems to sense some confusion from his friends about what he means by "turn up." He clarifies that it's not about turnip greens, but instead about the feeling of letting loose and having a good time. The repetition of the phrase throughout the song emphasizes how important it is for Future to let go of his worries and have fun with his friends.
Overall, "Turn Up" is a high-energy celebration of life and camaraderie, with Future encouraging his friends and fans to let go of their problems and focus on enjoying the moment.
