Do something ain't nobody seen before
Go on make a face, show some attitude
Throw your hands in the air you can wave them too
Then slide yeah, just a little
Make your backside stop drop wobble and wiggle
Been waiting all night just to get this chance
So come on girl tonight I want to
Baby won't you dance with me
Come on take a chance
Baby won't you dance with me
You know you want to dance
Baby ain't that your song
The one you singing all the time at home
Singing it in the shower
Already know what I wanna to do
Yeah
Get on the floor and dance with you
Girl I want to dance
Oh come on to this floor right now
Baby won't you dance with me
Baby won't you dance with me
Come on take my hand
Come and take my hand
Let your mind and body be free
You know you want to dance
Ooh baby why you taking so long
You say you're waiting on just the right song
Worried about who's watchin
You know what I want to do, yeah
Get on the floor and dance with you
Girl I want to dance
Girl I want to dance
Baby won't you dance with me
Come and take this ride with me
Come on take a chance
Come and take this good old chance
Baby won't you dance with me
Baby won't you dance with me
Girl I want to dance
Girl I want to dance with you
Baby won't you dance with me
Don't worry girl cause you're with me
Come on take my hand
Come and take my hand baby
Let your mind and body be free
Come on
You know you want to dance
Dance like you own the floor
Do something ain't nobody seen before
Go on make a face, show some attitude
Throw your hands in the air you can wave them too
Then slide yeah, just a little
Make your backside stop drop wobble and wiggle
Been waiting all night just to get this chance
So come on girl tonight I want to
Come on girl let's dance
Girl I want to dance. Oh baby girl come on let's dance
Baby won't you dance with me. Come on girl and groove with me
Come on take a chance. Oh come and grab my hand baby
Baby won't you dance with me. Let loose and be free
Girl I want to dance
We can two step, swing side to side, back and forth let's vibe
Baby won't you dance with me
Girl I want to dance with you
Come on take my hand
Oh come and take my hand
Let your mind and body be free
I know you really want to dance
You know you want to dance
The lyrics to G-Eazy's song One Girl convey the artist's desire for a meaningful relationship with a woman after being tired and sick of his single status. He yearns for a girl who possesses qualities such as being able to hold him and love only him, to joke with and have fun, and someone who looks good in jeans over skirts. G-Eazy also wants a girl who is skilled in cooking and can be shamelessly bold yet shy, indicating he desires a girl who has a good balance of confidence and humility. Most importantly, he desires a girl who he can connect with on various levels, including shared interests in music and movies, and someone who understands and adores him for who he is.
The song can be seen as a refreshing change of pace from the typical overly superficial and aggressive lyrics often associated with the rap genre. Rather than bragging about materialistic possessions and short-term conquests, G-Eazy communicates his sincere emotions through his lyrics. The song is relatable to many people, regardless of gender or age, as it expresses the natural longing for a meaningful and genuine relationship.
