In the past, their collaborative song “COLOR” was chosen to be the theme for the anime “Freezing”. On May 13, 2012, they performed for their Chinese fans at the ANIME ROCK CONVENTION in Shanghai, and are looking to do more live performances overseas. They are currently signed to Pony Canyon Inc.. Their major debut single “ambiguous” is the 2nd opening song of the anime "Kill la Kill".
The name "GARNiDELiA" is an portmanteau of "Le Palais Garnier de Maria", which means “Maria's Opera House”, and "Cordelia", the name of an asteroid discovered in toku's birth year.

I'm ethnic Chinese and my wife is Japanese. At the moment she's back in Japan visiting her mom so I sent her this music video, which has a blend of Japanese and Chinese elements (the costumes, the three-string Chinese lute, and the phrase "Wo Ai Ni" ("I love you" in Mandarin)) to remind her my love for her!

It's funny but for some reasons it took me watching this a few times before i noticed the Wo Ai Ni mandarin part lol! this was before you posted this comment but i did listen to this many times before but did literally took me a few times before i noticed that part! Ethnic Chinese here too but can only speak Cantonese.

I admire MARiA's skills at songwriting, lyric writing, dance and choreography--look at how intricate her moves are (keeping in mind that Miume did this one) and remember how in America we consider booty shaking high art in comparison.
