We prioritize what needs to be done and execute according to our abilities

For the good of all of us
We perform this work for the benefit of everyone involved

Except the ones who are dead
However, those who are deceased are not included in this group

But there's no sense crying over every mistake
It is not productive to dwell on past errors

You just keep on trying 'til you run out of cake
One should persist in their efforts until there is nothing left to give

And the science gets done
By conducting experiments and research, tangible progress is made

And you make a neat gun
One can create valuable resources and tools with the knowledge gained from scientific research

For the people who are still alive
These efforts benefit those who are currently living

I'm not even angry
Despite past negative experiences, I am not currently experiencing any feelings of anger

I'm being so sincere right now
I am being completely honest and truthful in my statements

Even though you broke my heart and killed me
Despite the fact that you have caused me emotional pain and physical harm

And tore me to pieces
And caused an immense amount of damage to my being

And threw every piece into a fire
And destroyed every part of me in a destructive manner

As they burned it hurt because
I experienced significant discomfort as this was happening

I was so happy for you
Despite what you have done to me, I still derive happiness and satisfaction from your success

Now these points of data make a beautiful line
The information that has been collected has been used to create a beautiful and meaningful outcome

And we're out of beta, we're releasing on time
We have completed the testing phase and are on schedule to release the final product

So I'm glad I got burned, think of all the things we learned
I am grateful for the experience, as it has taught us valuable lessons

When I look out there it makes me glad I'm not you
Observing the current situation, I am relieved that I am not in your position

I've experiments to run, there is research to be done
I am reminding myself of the scientific work that needs to be accomplished

On the people who are still alive
This work will benefit those who are currently living

And believe me, I am still alive
Despite past events, I have survived and am still functioning
