Combining grunge and progressive rock with religious and spiritual themes, the group's unique sound and disturbingly bittersweet lyrics led to the development of a small following. The band members, however, each moved on to pursue different interests/professions. The group split up just a few years after forming.

In 2008, founding members of Gabriel's Falling, Mike (guitars) and Brian (vocals) reunited after Brian returned from a long stay in Panama.

The band released their first CD, Law of Displacement, in July 2009 (available on iTunes, Amazon, and other online music retailers). They are currently in the studio recording their second album.

The good times out in nature with him. Before dementia took him over. before I knew what an ass hole he truly was. When this song first appeared I was on my senior retreat (in high school). We were expected to meditate, pray and reflect on our lives, fears (sins) and relationships. But then someone had a transistor radio, and this song was playing. It banged around in my head the entire three days I was there. So much for the praying and reflecting. Amazing vocals!! Wow!! Doesn't get any better. R.I.P. Bobby Hatfield! Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield complimented each other so well. Medley with the bass baritone and Hatfield with his tenor! The Righteous Brothers were spectacular!!

0:07 and 1:16 Bobby’s pose is beyond cool. He’s so calm and collected. Sitting there like he’s in deep thought reflecting about a woman who might’ve inspired this song. At 1:25 as his part approaches; he just stands up slowly like a BOSS. 2:20 They just slow walk towards the platform while perfectly harmonizing... These guys were too cool and way ahead of the curve for their era.
