Love Is Alive
Gary Wright Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Well I think it's time to get ready
To realize just what I have found
I have lived only half of what I am
It's all clear to me now

My heart is on fire
My soul's like a wheel that's turnin'
My love is alive, my love is alive, yeah, yeah, yeah

There's something inside
That's making me crazy
I'll try to keep it together
'Cause what I say may not happen the same way
Now could be forever

My heart is on fire
My soul's like a wheel that's turnin'
My love is alive, my love is alive, yeah, yeah, yeah

There's a mirror moving inside my mind
Reflecting the love that you shine on me
Hold on now to that feeling
Let it flow, let it grow, yeah, yeah

My heart is on fire

My soul's like a wheel that's turnin'
My love is alive, my love is alive, yeah, yeah, yeah

I love how music has the power to transport the listener back in time. So grateful to be a product of the 1960s

Mark Lee

And the 1970's. Rock on. (Country was pretty good too).

@Benito
I believe they're saying they're a product of the 60s, like myself. We got to enjoy 70s music.

@Mark Lee - I was born in the mid 60's so I mostly remember the 70's and early 80's. The 70's were amazing, the music, and everything else during that time. I wish I was born about a decade earlier so I could have experienced the 60's - then again, I am already too damn old so, maybe not.
