My dad just passed 2 months ago, he was 67 and died to cancer. Since he was young he loved this band, it was his favorite, and so he passed this passion to me when I was still a child. We both listened to all of these songs in his car although we didn't even know the meaning of the words (I'm from Italy).
Now that I'm 20 and have some english knowledge, I can finally understand a lot of the songs and oh boy, this one hit me so hard ❤️ it hit even harder knowing that this was one of our favorite songs, although back then we didn't even know the meaning of the words.

remember that in 1993, I was in a meeting at a friend's house in the Belgrano neighborhood in Buenos Aires. In that meeting there was a girl that I liked, suddenly the owner of the house put this theme of Genesis, out of nowhere I took impulse and invited that girl to dance Afterglow. I never thought I was meeting my wife through that Genesis slowdown. 28 years my love, I love you Angie.
