In 1986 their name changed to Gigolo Aunts (after a Syd Barrett song) and the band re-located to Boston, Massachusetts.
After recording the singles "Bloom" and "Cope" with Paul Kolderie and Sean Slade the band signed to Fire Records in the U.K. and created the full-length album "Flippin' Out" with producers Mike Deneen and Adam Lasus. They were then signed to RCA records in the US. Their biggest commercial success was the single "Where I Find My Heaven", which featured in the soundtrack to the motion picture Dumb and Dumber and as the opening music to the British sitcom Game On. They Also had a song "Little Wild One" in the movie "That Thing You Do".
Although not officially broken up, the band has been inactive since their 2003 full-length Pacific Ocean Blues. Vocalist/guitarist Dave Gibbs has since joined another band, Low Stars

And the blood flows through my heart and leaves like sand as I shave
And the wind outside, and the taxi's ready
And the lonesome hum that comes from my desk lamp is
Where I find my heaven
Is where I find my heaven
Heaven
But Sunday mornin' is only for the blessed
And the grace keeps flowing just as long as we can stay undressed
And a whispered word in my spirit lies
And the sacred moments of sillyness are
Where I find my heaven
Where I find my heaven
Where I find my heaven
Heaven
It's where I find my heaven
It's where I find my heaven
Where I find my heaven
It's where I find my heaven
Where I find my heaven
Where I find my heaven
Heaven
“Where I Find My Heaven” by Gigolo Aunts is a song that explores the different times in our lives that make us happy and fulfilled. The song begins with the singer talking about Monday mornings being a time for the brave, where the blood flows through his heart and leaves like sand as he shaves. The wind outside and the taxi being ready create a sense of moving on, but the lonesome hum from his desk lamp is where he finds his heaven. This is a representation of the comforting nature of routine, and how we can find peace in the small things.
The song then transitions to Sunday mornings being for the blessed, where the grace keeps flowing as long as we can stay undressed. The whispered word in the singer’s spirit lies in the sacred moments of silliness, which is also where he finds his heaven. This represents how we can find pure joy and happiness in the little moments in life, and how being with loved ones brings us closer to our true selves.
Overall, “Where I Find My Heaven” is a song that encourages the listener to take time to appreciate the small things in life and find peace and happiness in routines and time spent with loved ones.

Saw this movie when i was just a kid, 33 now...used to recite jokes and lines from the movie to my family when we would be in the car driving up to the UP of MI...not knowing as a kid what some of the jokes really meant haha, still...probably one of the greatest movies of that time, thank you!
