Their first album, Twinkle, was released on iTunes and other music service sites on April 29th, 2012, while the physical album dropped on May 2nd, 2012. Also on May 3rd, Billboard published the new weekly charts for the U.S. 'Billboard 200'. On this chart, Taetiseo’s Twinkle charted at number 126. This is the highest achievement recorded by a Korean artist to date. The album also appeared as #1 on the World Album, #2 on the Heatseeker, and #21 on the Independent Album charts respectively. In addition to achieving an all-kill on the music sites, they also topped the Japanese iTunes album chart, while ranking #4 on the U.S. and Australian iTunes album charts, and #5 on Canada’s iTunes album chart.
Promotions for Twinkle were launched with a sub-unit debut stage performance on the May 3rd, 2012 broadcast of Mnet's 'M! Countdown'.
