In the comfort of his home studio, Glamour Hammer swings back and forth between creating dance-oriented disco house and jazz-infused dream pop with a sense of escapism and tongue-in-cheek attitude while always aspiring for a sense of timelessness and analogue feel.
Drawing inspiration from a multitude of genres the most influential are 1970s-80s Funk, Disco, Boggie, Classic rock, Latin rhythms and Afropop.
Apart from his Glamour Hammer persona, Adam is also a member of the synthpop duo LCTRISC.
In the year of 2019 Glamour Hammer made his debut with the slow paced disco ballad Stay with Me which was followed by a breakthrough nu-disco remix by the acclaimed producer Oliver Nelson in the summer of 2020 as well as an euphoric Tech house edit by the promising Joos (CH).
With the release of the mini-album Tropical Suite, Pt. 1 Glamour Hammer introduced a wider soundscape incorporating bits of reggae dub, bombastic brass parts and Gorillaz-esque trip-hop soul.
In December 2020 Glamour Hammer widened his audience while starring on compilation album Too Slow to Disco NEO presents: The Sunset Manifesto alongside prominent artists such as Yuksek, Poolside, Kraak & Smaak, Moods and more. Included on this mixtape was the urban soul gem Is It True featuring rapper Toni Sauna.
Glamour Hammer intends to release a Tropical Suite Pt.2 sometime throughout 2021.

that youโve found comfort in somebody elseโs embrace
Iโm asking you
how long did you think it would have last before I knew
Is it true
that youโve found comfort in somebody elseโs embrace
Iโm asking you
how long did you think it would have last before I knew
before I knew.
Is it true
Is it true
Is it true
Is it true
I can tell by the expression on your face
that things had change
like a bad date
You was all smiles
but the smile fake
you know Iโm vegan
but you ordered me a stake
You was out for blood
like a vampire know it tastes great
left me hanging like a bird on a wire.
Complaining, blow a lot of smoke
but no fire.
We used to walk
but now you talk about letโs get a car.
We used to talk about everything
in and out of style.
Used to be two
now is three and is overcrowded
Used to be two
now is three and is overcrowded
Used to be two
now is three and is overcrowded
Used to be two
now is three and is overcrowded
Is it true
that youโve found comfort in somebody elseโs embrace
Iโm asking you
how long did you think it would have last before I knew
before I knew.
Is it true
Is it true
Is it true
Is it true
that youโve found comfort in somebody elseโs embrace
Iโm asking you
how long did you think it would have last before I knew
The lyrics of Glamour Hammer's song "Is It True" depict a sense of betrayal and heartbreak in a relationship. The singer is questioning their partner's actions and whether they have sought comfort in someone else's arms. The repetition of the question "Is it true?" emphasizes the singer's desperation for answers and their need to confirm their suspicions.
The lyrics suggest that the singer has noticed a change in their partner's behavior, as reflected in their facial expression. The reference to a "bad date" implies that the relationship has turned sour and lost its initial charm. The line, "you was all smiles but the smile fake," suggests that the partner has been pretending to be happy while hiding their true feelings or actions.
The mention of ordering a stake for the singer, despite their vegan lifestyle, depicts a disregard for their needs and preferences. This symbolizes the partner's selfishness and lack of consideration. The image of being left hanging "like a bird on a wire" further emphasizes the abandonment and betrayal the singer feels.
The lyrics also highlight a shift in priorities and communication within the relationship. The couple used to walk together but now the partner suggests getting a car, indicating a change in their shared goals and values. The mention of the relationship becoming overcrowded with a third party suggests that the partner has moved on and now has a new person in their life.
Overall, "Is It True" explores the pain of discovering infidelity and the subsequent feelings of betrayal and confusion. The lyrics reflect the singer's longing for honesty and closure, as they question how long their partner thought they could hide their actions.
