And you know I got that satisfaction that you need
And I know I'm never home and it's hard just to trust me baby
Don't leave, I'm coming back, it's you and me
It's only us I see
You are what I need
It's all the same thing
Like you, baby
It's all the same thing
Never, had a, love, quite like you, baby
Like you, baby
It's all the same thing
Never, had a, love, quite like you, baby
Like you, baby
It's all the same thing
Never, had a, love, quite like you, baby
Like you, baby
Too cold
Shining, icy
(Aye, what you do?) I had to add mink to the wardrobe
(Why?) To let the frost bite me (Let's go)
Cigarettes ain't my thing
But hell I got a light for your stogie, we can talk along the balcony
And who am I? Shi- you don't know I'm AP
Old soul, future brighter than a fuckin' high beam
And how your skin so shiny?
Body like agave
Chainsmoking, mouth like you grew up on a sailor boat
But dammit I like it
I think I found wifey
But then again I could be higher than a kite string
I said I think I might wife her
You know, powder blue jumpsuit, baby blue Huaraches
Let's just dance, the moment
We've been waiting for the chance to get lit
Is that your ass I'm holdin'?
You know I don't know ya'
But I know that you're one in a million
And I know you don't know me from a stranger
It's hard just to trust me, baby
But believe, I got what you need
There's no one like you, baby
It's all the same thing
Never, had a, love, quite like you, baby
Like you, baby
It's all the same thing
Never, had a, love, quite like you, baby
Like you, baby
It's all the same thing
Never, had a, love, quite like you, baby
Like you, baby
It's all the same thing
Never, had a, love, quite like you, baby
Like you, baby
In GoldLink's song "Unique," the lyrics express the singer's admiration for a particular woman in his life. He explains that this person is the only one who is good for him, and he has the satisfaction that she needs. He acknowledges that he is not always present, which makes it difficult for her to trust him, but he reassures her that he will always come back, and it's only her that he sees. He emphasizes that he has never had love like this before and that she is the only one who can fulfill his needs.
The chorus repeats the phrase "It's all the same thing, never had a love quite like you, baby," which emphasizes the uniqueness of this relationship. The second verse, in particular, is filled with imagery of luxury and extravagance, with references to mink and Huaraches. However, despite the material wealth, the singer is most interested in the person's shining, agave-like body.
The song's overall tone is one of gratitude and admiration for this particular person, whom the singer describes as one in a million. The lyrics are straightforward and poetic at the same time, blending contemporary slang and references with more traditional references to marital commitment.

+Jordan Hancock Not now, this kind of music is not popular right now, its all about sounding like future

+Westcoaststyling It sucks, but you are right. Sad AF! Thank goodness music goes in cycles...hopefully this is the start of a new cycle...

That ig shit was not what he meant by 'marketed correctly', Goldlink

@Артём Денисов I don't think it's far-fetched that the Divine Feminine was influenced by this album but bringing this up a year after the guy's death is...as Paak put it best, a "disrespectful, narcissistic, jealous grossly unnecessary post.”
