Wow. We used to sing this in my 4th grade class during our music hour, way back when public schools used to have great music programs and music was an integral part of our curriculum. I've always loved this song and finally decided to look it up. Little did I know the rich history of this song, and what it meant. This version moves me so deeply.

Brothers, today is a day of days, today is Pascha. Today is the day when Our LORD and Savior, Yeshua HaMashiach was resurrected from the dead into life everlasting. Life's one true King who gave Himself up for us all, so God loves us all that He would come and die and through this He would conquer death that no one in Him might die evermore. Beloved, this is the fulfillment of all of God's Word, that we all as Brothers and Sisters share and hold fast in love and love as He loves us through life and death and life everlasting. He lived the life we must all live and we shall live like Him and in Him in love for God is love.
