Coming from Bucharest - Romania, the five piece metal act started as an unexpected mixture of former members from the heavy metal band Thunderstorm and the winner of the 2008 national TV casting show Megastar.
The five guys met and as soon as they played together, all hell broke loose. After realizing that there's great potential to this unusual mix of different musical backgrounds, the band was soon to be baptized "Goodbye to Gravity", a name that's meant to defy strict rules, preconceived ideas and genre limitations.
The music they play is the natural result of the chemistry spawned by the collision of the two musical worlds. The traditional vs. the new, the brutal vs. the sensitive, the riffs vs. the melody. The band's full-on, high-energy tunes with great hooks and heavy breakdowns, is sure to rattle some bones in the industry.
The band ended their activity in 2015 after Colectiv club fire: 4 members died and vocalist Andrei Galut was seriously injured.

Eu nu sunt singurul care simte acest lucru dar sa va spun prima dată când am ascultat aceasta piesa nu m-am putut opri din plâns,doar când te gândești la ce s-a întâmplat, la faptul că au murit atâția oameni, o trupa peste standardele aceste tari, o trupa excelenta, o trupa parca desprinsa din alta lume. Goodbye to Gravity este cea mai buna trupa de care am auzit până acum. Păcat că s-a terminat așa. Păcat că multă lume i-au descoperit după tragedie. Goodbye to Gravity niciodata nu o sa moara niciodata. Mie imi place metalcore-ul e genul meu preferat, goodbye to gravity nu a fost, este trupa mea preferata pentru ca ii port mereu in suflet, am de gand sa continui ce au facut ei, prin simplul fapt de a merge mai departe cu acest gen si a il dezvolta ! Va rog sa faceti fiecare la fel, ca e muzica classica sau rock, si ce faceti, faceti umpic si pentru cei care ne privesc de sus !
