The Bulgarian song Страничен наблюдател (Sideline Observer) by Grafa speaks of the loneliness and isolation felt by the singer as he walks through the streets at night. The streets are empty and quiet, just like the people who judge him. Despite walking against the wind, he waits for the morning to come to finally rest. The yellow traffic lights blink in the street, and he resembles the birds that stand motionless. He is not a hero from any movie, just an ordinary dreamer, an average person who feels like an outsider.
The observer talks about his disillusionment with the world, as he feels like a stranger on the streets he's known all his life. He opens the doors to the emptiness of city life, where people prioritize materialistic and superficial things over genuine human connections. The song conveys the idea of the observation of life from a distance, where the observer watches the world move forward with things they cannot connect to. They’re not part of the elite and are not entertainers, but they still feel like outsiders, observing the world from the sidelines, waiting for their time to rest.
Overall, the song’s lyrics paint an image of a person who is weary of the world, its expectations, and its norms. The singer's feelings of detachment and isolation are palpable throughout the song, and it speaks to a universal experience shared by many people who don't fit in with society's standards.

I don't know even one word in Bulgarian language, but song is wonderful. All Grafa's songs are amazing. Even if I don't understand the words. This is the power of music.!🔥
