Her next single, "Everywhere Around Me", was released August 2012. Greta released her first album titled In The Silence on 16 November 2012. The album contains her Eurovision song Never Forget which is in English and also the Icelandic version - Mundu Eftir Mér. In the Icelandic national final of that same year, Greta also collaborated with Heiða & Guðrún Árný Karlsdóttir on the song 'Aldrei Sleppir Mér' which she composed herself. When both entries made the final, Greta had to make a decision with which song she would participate that night. She chose 'Mundu eftir mér' with Jónsi which led them to victory. A solo version of 'Aldrei Sleppir Mér' is featured on Greta's album 'In The Silence'. In 2016, she was selected to represent Iceland for the second time with the song "Hear Them Calling"
