Burn Them Down
Guadalajara Lyrics

They are not easy to find
take good care on your way
and with the pen in your hand
you are able to plan
the route that you're gonna take
get off an break the chains
cause the rails would lead you on
a path where you don't belong
discover all the borders and boundaries in your head
and start to burn them down
it will never be too late
so try to understand
on this journey straight to your luck
out of this desperate days
you have to follow your heart
on the ashes of the past
will stand buildings that last
made of visions and dreams
so turn over a new leaf
admission tickets for free
only risk is the charge
answers to the questions come soon
but will they ever be clear?
just the future will show
now it's time to leave the train
get off an break the chains
cause the rails would lead you on
a path where you don't belong
discover all the borders and boundaries in your head
and start to burn them down
it will never be too late
so try to understand
These lyrics from Guadalajara's song Burn Them Down speak of a journey of self-discovery and breaking free from limitations. The first stanza sets the scene in a landscape littered with mines, portraying potential dangers and obstacles. The use of the pen as a tool for planning and mapping out a safe route suggests a need for careful consideration and foresight in any journey. The second stanza encourages the listener to get off the train and break free from the system that limits them, to discover the borders and boundaries in their mind that may be hindering their progress. The repetition of the phrase "discover all the borders and boundaries in your head and start to burn them down" reinforces the theme of self-discovery and breaking free from limitations. The reference to "the ashes of the past" suggests leaving the past behind and embracing a new beginning, building a future based on dreams and visions.
The chorus emphasizes the importance of taking action, and not waiting for the right moment. It urges the listener to understand that it's never too late to make changes, and to follow their heart on a journey towards happiness and fulfillment. The repeated refrain "discover all the borders and boundaries in your head and start to burn them down" again reinforces the idea of breaking free from self-imposed limitations.
Overall, the song Burn Them Down serves as an anthem to encourage self-discovery, breaking free from limiting beliefs, and taking control of one's own destiny.
