Recuerdo el año 1992 en uno de mis viajes de estudio a CIAT, en Cali Colombia, durante los viajes internos en autobús escuchaba las canciones de Niche y Guayacán. Recuerdo que quede prendido por las canciones del disco “sentimental de punta a punta” de Guayacán, a tal punto de averiguar el nombre del grupo y del disco para conseguirlo y traerlo conmigo a mi país. . Esas canciones me mercaron, principalmente las interpretadas por Jairo Ruiz (invierno en primavera, cada día que pasa, etc.). Hoy en día tengo toda la colección, y en mi casa suenan constantemente igual que hace 23 años. Saludos desde Nicaragua.
