Polaris
H. P. Lovecraft Lyrics

Advertising as a generic way to free
Energetic flame just to know desire
Double trouble to distinct and deny
To underneath disagree
To release my feelings

Firethrower just to get you by
Get up
On your cup
Don't quit
You will survive

You saw a virgin and an angel
While you were up with us
Don't talk to mistify

Turning up to a path
That led to the mountainside
He saw the heavy mist
Hung over the lake

He peered into the shadows
And the moon lifting up the waters
She was willing to marry him
""But there must therefore be one condition
On which I marry you""
Ok, Ok

You have struck me for the third
And last time
You're so cold
You could sleep outside

[break]
""You shoot me in a dream
You better wake up and apologize""

How do we come to this? (yeah, yeh)
What a big disgrace (What a big disgrace)
Remember when you were mine? (Mine)
But nevermind
I guess I'll be fine (be fine)

How do we come to this? (yeah, yeh)
What a big disgrace (What a big disgrace)
Remember when you were mine? (Mine)
But nevermind
I guess I'll be fine (be fine)

Fine, fine, fine
Fine, fine

I guess I'll be fine (be fine)
I guess I'll be fine (be fine)
I guess I'll be fine (be fine)
I guess I'll be fine (be fine)
I guess I'll be fine (be fine)

There's a party outside
There's a party outside
There's a party outside
There's a party outside

There's a party outside
But you're not having fun (fun
There's a party outside
And you still doping nuns

Whats the deal?
You and me (ok, ok)
Whats the deal?
You and me
Whats the deal?
Whats the deal?
Whats the deal?

There's a party outside
But you're not having fun
There's a party outside
And you still got the nuns

Whats the deal?
You and me (ok, ok)
Whats the deal?
You and me
Whats the deal?
Whats the deal?
You and me

I guess I'll be fine

"Polaris" is a fantasy short story by American author H. P. Lovecraft, written in 1918 and first published in the December 1920 issue of the amateur journal The Philosopher. It is the story that introduces Lovecraft's fictional Pnakotic Manuscripts, the first of his arcane tomes.

"Slumber, watcher, till the spheres
Six and twenty thousand years
Have revolv'd, and I return
To the spot where now I burn.
Other stars anon shall rise
To the axis of the skies;
Stars that soothe and stars that bless,
With a sweet forgetfulness.
Only when my round is o'er
Shall the past disturb thy door."

Levels, bitches.

@TheTalemaster

No, mine is.

@Burley_Bert

A good voice yes. There are numerous mispronunciations allotting accent as so.

@Burley_Bert

@@TheTalemaster If I may be blunt. Your reading voice is not relaxed enough for me.

@coreyrachar9694

I started reading lovecraft just a few days ago beginning chronologically in the order he wrote them, and I was unsure about the hype surrounding this author. When finally I made it to Dagon and especially Polaris I finally understood... This is going to be one hell of a ride.

@ericbryant9801

same situation here.
I'm now fully convinced that reading his stories gonna be an amazing experience

@shannonandsheila1403

You are on the right track but you must read/listen to Clark Ashton Smith.
