The band consists of the singer and bass player Elli, the two guitarists Jere and Leo , as well as Jukka (drums).
Their first album "Haloo Helsinki!" came out on the 13th of August 2008, and their second album "Enemmän Kuin Elää" came out on the 2nd of September 2009. Their third album III came out on the 2nd of March 2011.

The opening lines of "Carpe Diem" by Haloo Helsinki! paints a picture of a beautiful evening with subtle hints of romance. The shimmering light coming through the blinds, the sight of the rays tracing the back of a lover, and the end of the day in their apartment are all calm, serene moments that would make one want to hold onto time. However, the singer also expresses a frustration with the repetitive nature of their life, wishing to fast-forward to the future. They kiss and sigh but then express conflicted thoughts about their relationship. They want to believe that they do not want their lover, but they can't help but keep waking up next to them.
In the chorus, the title "Carpe Diem" is mentioned, but it seems to be rejected as the singer expresses a disconnect between their heart and head.
