Hamster Theatre is an American band based in Boulder, Colorado specializing in complex music that defies all genre boundaries. The band was formed in 1993 by Dave Willey (formerly of Big Foot Torso) and Jon Stubbs. They were inspired by European artists outside the commercial mainstream, such as Nimal and Fem Soker En Skaat. Original members also included Deborah Perry (keyboards, vocals), Steve Doyle (guitar), Greg LaLiberte (saxes, flute), and Josh Wright (drums). Willey plays keyboards, guitar and melodeon; Stubbs handles bass, keyboards, trombone and miscellaneous other instruments.
The band's first album, Songs from the Hamster Theatre, was recorded on four-track cassette and released in 1995 on Prolific Records. Personnel changes abounded, and it was not until 1996 that the band recorded again. At this point, Willey and Stubbs were joined by Mark Harris (winds, reeds), Mike Johnson (guitar), Mike Fitzmaurice (bass), and Raoul Rossiter (drums). Harris and Johnson are also in Thinking Plague. An album called Siege on Hamburger City was recorded live at the Mercury Cafe in 1998.
While engaging a series of different bass players, the band has put out two more albums: Carnival Detournement (2000) and The Public Execution of Mr. Personality (2006), which is packaged with Quasi Day Room, a live document from a festival appearance in Seattle in 2002. These later albums appeared on Cuneiform Records.

The problem is that so many people are used to having doors open for them that they don't pay attention. Although, if they came in through the door they should know that it works both ways

I stopped a woman from dying because she was walking into the path of a double decker bus because she was distracted by her phone. I screamed look, because I did not want to see death to occur right in front of me. Obviously, she was most grateful.

Funny story, the lady that fell into the water fountain in the mall seen that mall security leaked the footage and it was shown on tv somewhere and became so embarrassed and enraged that she went public with her decision to sue them. The thing is that no one knew it was her until she, herself went public and therefore lost her lawsuit because the judge didn’t believe that her embarrassment prior was legitimate considering if she would have kept her mouth shut no one would have known it was her and no one cared until she pulled a Karen just for the sake of trying to get some money for bruised ego and not so public shaming lol

@ 7:00 The woman that fell in the fountain while walking & texting saw this video on her local news. She contacted the news channel via social media which gave them her name and told them she was going to get a lawyer and sue them for humiliating her. They pointed out to her that until she went on social media complaining that they'd shown the video, no one had known her identity because they didn't provide it (& her face could not be made out on the video!!) so she wound up outing herself.....thus everyone could now know just how stupid she really was! LOL True story!
