He contributed the song "Victory Today" to the X Factor compilation album bundled with the popular Norwegian gossip magazine Se & Hør; the song was noticeably self-composed, uncommon for such a release. The autobiographical ballad with which he won X Factor, "Moments" was released as a single shortly after his winning the contest, and went straight to #1 on the Norwegian singles charts in the first week of its release.
His first studio album, Victory Today, was released on 1 April 2011, debuting at the #9 spot on the Norwegian VG-lista album charts. The second single for the album ("Moments" retroactively becoming the first single due to its inclusion on the album) was "You & I", which failed to chart. His second studio album, Small Town, was released on 30 March 2012.
