Her musical career started with the group Fishbowl in London. However, the group disbanded without releasing a single album and she became a DJ. After offering club promoters to spin for free, she went on to do regular appearances in concerts and parties in London. Since then, she has had success with Circus Tour with Britney Spears, and also scored support spots for Enrique Iglesias, The Pussycat Dolls, Lady GaGa, Chris Brown and Rihanna in Australia.
In early 2008, she signed with Universal Music Australia and released several albums of her compilation series titled 'Crave', featuring mixed R&B and hip hop. Crave Vol. 2 made it to the top five of the ARIA compilation chart and over 50,000 units of the Crave series have already sold in only one year. Crave Vol. 4 debuted at #2 on the ARIA compilation and urban charts and over 100,000 units of the Crave series have already sold in a little over a year. Her most recent album Crave Vol. 5 came out on the 29 October 2010.
Havana Brown was nominated for Best DJ at the Urban Music Awards in 2007 and won Best DJ in Pop Republic Magazineโs It List in 2007.
Havana now also holds down a weekly spot on Australian radio. Every Friday afternoon DJ Havana Brown can be heard on the Austereo network where she mixes a set for the "Ad Free Fifty".
Havana released her debut single 'We Run The Night' in 2011. The song reached #5 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart and earned Brown two ARIA Music Award nominations for Breakthrough Artist Single and Highest Selling Single.

Havana Brown Lyrics

Havana I heard you had a question though
Talk to 'em
Let's go, thicker than a Magnum, ace of spades
Strobe light, we can play charades
My pants keep grenades
Bananas, clips, shoot for days let's go (Gi-gi-gi-give me)
Let's go (Gi-gi-gi-give me)
What? That big fat
I'm goin' out tonight
Got it locked down, I don't want to fight
I'm a hot girl, I have a right
Have a right, have a right
Kill or die hard I'm a call you bruised
Feel dropped out and I'm a call you Cruise
Beat it up up up, pop the juice
Pop the juice, pop the juice
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
If you want that, baby I got it
Gi-gi-gi-give me
Gi-gi-gi-give me
Gi-gi-gi-give me
That big fat
Freaky shit don't matter black or white
Let me shake the uh don't cut the light
Let 'em all bark, I love to bite
Love to bite, love to bite
Getting tipsy, ain't getting loose
I got the vibe, they got the juice
Beat it up up up, pop the juice
Pop the juice, pop the juice
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
Big ba-na-nana ooh na-na-nana
Do you have a big banana?
If you want that, baby I got it
(Gi-gi-gi-give me)
Let's go (Gi-gi-gi-give me)
Let's go (Gi-gi-gi-give me)
Let's go, that big fat
Let's go (Gi-gi-gi-give me)
Let's go (Gi-gi-gi-give me)
Let's go (Gi-gi-gi-give me)
Let's go, that big fat let's go go
She don't know
Underneath the belt and the Polo
Thicker than a trunk on a Volvo
Audemar black with the rose gold
Let's go go, she don't know
Underneath the belt and the Polo
Thicker than a trunk on a Volvo
Audemar black with the rose gold
The lyrics of Havana Brown's "Big Banana" are a mix of suggestive innuendos and playful wordplay. The song is about having a good time, letting loose, and being confident in oneself. The mention of a big banana stands out as it is a euphemism for male genitalia. The song evokes a sense of empowerment for women to enjoy themselves and live their lives on their terms. Brown's use of repetition in the lyrics adds to the catchy nature of the song and its beat.
The opening lines of the song pay tribute to Havana Brown as a DJ, highlighting her signature style and asking if she is ready to push the boundaries. The lyrics then segue into describing the club scene with references to party staples such as strobe lights and charades. Brown seems to be encouraging listeners to let loose and have fun. The lyrics that follow feature suggestive imagery about grenades, clips, and shootouts, but the focus remains on having a good time.
