Atleast i have nothing against records where they curse. Small fact what i was talking about why Luda made music without cursing was that otherwise he needed to have a radio and album version or they had to edit the words out! That's the thing about music, even if you do not remember a certain song it still reminds you of that era. Every time I come across a song that I have never heard before I always try and place it somewhere within my memory along with every other song in that era. This music reminds everyone that rap had lost its meaning because of the garbage that comes out these days. Sure, there are some good rappers but not as recognised. South Central Cartel released their first album in January 1992 but it was recorded from March to December 1991. Mobb Deep released their first album in April 1993 with the group name as 'Mobb Deep'. Havoc and Prodeje from South Central Cartel released an album separate from SCC in May 1993 under the duo name 'Havoc and Prodeje', so technically the LA cats were the first ones to release an album and/or music using those names. However, Mobb Deep had a demo out and were written about in the Source in July 1991, when they were known as 'Poetical Prophets', this article did refer to them as 'Havoc and Prodigy' so this is the first written evidence of their names being exposed to the World. Unless the LA cats read that particular article while recording their first album and decided to take those names for themselves, it really does appear to be a freak coincidence that both duos have the same rap names or 'street' names. In a court of law, we would need witnesses to testify that the LA cats were referred to by those names before the Source article, and vice-versa we would need witnesses to testify that the NY cats didn't hear of the LA duo through some record label back channel, thus dismissing both parties of intellectual theft.

@William Gruenberg Just because the source wrote about it in 7/91 does not mean that that is when they made the demo. That demo could have been out for months before it was recognized by the source. so basically, why should mobb deep have changed their names. it's like saying Dr. Dre should have changed his name when Dr. Dre started hosting Yo! MTV Raps. I'm sure they didn't know about each other when they came out with the name. Besides, if you don't legally secure the rights to the name, it's open season. Just like when Big had to relinquish the name Biggie Smalls cause some white boy name Biggie Smallz already copyrighted the name.
