Here's the story : George asked Jeremy to produce an EP for The Other Also but the two started writing together with software synths and programmed beats. Their old friend, Richard Parsons, came to visit and said, "Yeah, this isn't The Other Also. This is something new." So, it was!
Britt originally joined as the guitarist, but she has always been a keyboard player at heart. So, when Jason expressed an interest in joining the band after their record release show at the Doug Fir, Britt was thrilled by the prospect of putting down the guitar and returning to her primary instrument. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Hawks Do Not Share Lyrics

With no certainty
I'll make it down alive
Through the valleys of your spine
A rocky twist of fate
In a world full of hate
Balanced on a blade
Did you think you could save it?
Did you believe it would last?
Surrendering control
I feel your absence
Ringing through my bones
Silence falling now
On snow covered firs
Some peace of mind
In a changing world
Astraea
I think I've had enough
Left here to burn
I'm ready for your return
Echoes of the past
Did you think you could save it?
Did you believe it would last?
The lyrics of "Echoes" by Hawks Do Not Share convey a sense of resilience and perseverance amidst uncertainty and adversity. The opening lines, "Rising higher, with no certainty, I'll make it down alive," suggest a determination to overcome challenges, even when the outcome is uncertain.
