I am committed to my values and will continue to embody them.

I know the apostates, I carry the truth in me
I am aware of those who have abandoned their principles, and I hold onto mine with conviction.

As new liars invade my riven fatherland
I am witnessing people who deceive and manipulate in my own country.

I see vassals face away from frantic leaders
I see followers who turn away from their unstable, desperate leaders.

Lies of omissions ensnare the changeling
Half-truths and intentional omissions trap people who could easily change or adapt if they had all the facts.

I see heroes decay, I hear pontiffs betray
I am witnessing respected figures and leaders fall apart or turn against their own values.

Betray their canon sermonized over ages
They abandon the principles and teachings that they once expressed or upheld, even though they have existed for centuries.

I left the lost, I left the lost
I have already moved on and left behind any sense of loss or confusion.

I seek salvation in the distance, leaving the sorrows of this world
Once again, I am escaping from the sadness and sorrow of this world to find peace elsewhere.
